Daniel Abramov brings to Gibraltar over ten years of experience that spans technology, consulting, finance, capital markets, and investment banking. Daniel has more than 6 years of specialized expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce, web analytics and business development. A solution-oriented business builder, Daniel has a unique capacity to bridge knowledge from multiple disciplines to deliver novel and comprehensive solutions to the most difficult of challenges. In the past, Daniel has identified and executed on opportunities to pivot business verticals, created new subsidiaries to add new revenue channels, expanded product offerings (from 1 item per day to over 50,000 simultaneous SKUs), and change business-models (from daily deals to a complete e-commerce solution) all in an effort to successfully compete in a dynamic & evolving e-commerce industry. As a result, companies under Daniel’s guidance have persevered against multi-billion dollar competitors.
Prior to joining Gibraltar, Daniel was the founder of a technology consultancy, DigiTargeting Inc, specializing in digital marketing and business development. Prior to DigiTargeting, Daniel was the co-founder, CMO and CFO of DealTicker Inc a performance-based e-commerce marketplace. Daniel’s multi-faceted knowledge and training in finance, marketing, digital media, and creative thinking enabled DealTicker to thrive in a highly competitive environment, leading to its eventual acquisition by LiveDeal (NASDAQ: LIVE) in 2014. Prior to launching DealTicker, Daniel was an Associate on the Equity Capital Markets desk at National Bank Financial in Toronto.
Daniel holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Schulich School of Business (York University) and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from York Univeristy.
