GXMG is an early-stage venture that is developing augmented reality (AR) software applications across multiple B2B and B2C verticals. GXMG’s strategy is to grow both organically and by acquiring Canadian and international AR companies with valuable technology, skills and/or customers in the target verticals. It was capitalized with a seed round in April 2015, led by its co-founders Globalive Capital and XMG Partners, and the Fund.

(“Spotify”) is the world’s leading digital music-streaming service providing on-demand access to music, video and lyrics on computers, mobiles, tablets and home entertainment systems. On July 31 2017, it announced it had over 60 million paying subscribers (Apple Music ranked #2 with 27 million subscribers) and more than 140 million active users. For 2016, Spotify’s revenue was €2.9 billion, an increase of approx. 51% versus prior year. It is present in 58 countries globally and employs over 1,600 people. Street estimates have pegged revenue for 2017 at €4.2 billion, with an IPO expected in the next twelve months.
LXR & Co is a retailer of vintage luxury handbags and accessories with a differentiated supply chain whose primary product is women’s luxury handbags from Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel. Founded in 2012, it began in wholesale and now has a unique store-in-store model in North America and Europe and an e-commerce platform selling online in 13 countries.

Civic is focused on creating products and services for the enablement of “smart cities”. Our investment in Civic came through our original investment in Globalive XMG JV Inc., a company founded by Anthony Lacavera that was merged into Civic in February 2016.
FanXchange is an online marketplace that enables consumers to securely purchase or redeem loyalty points for tickets to major music, sporting and theatre events. It offers an inventory selection of over 11 million tickets to live events across North America and Europe. Originally conceived to address a cash-only marketplace, in early 2013 it repositioned its offering to the loyalty market, thus enabling loyalty program operators to provide their members with online access to live event tickets in exchange for loyalty points.
Blue Ant Media owns and operates 11 media brands including Cottage Life, Travel+Escape, Smithsonian Channel Canada, Oasis and AUX. It creates and distributes content ranging from music to travel, style to nature, engaging fans across television, digital, magazines and live events.
